Votes for Women Suffragette Vintage Feminist Equality

--
Some ideas age badly. Equal rights is not one of them.

This vintage-inspired feminist print features a suffragette marching beneath the words “Votes for Women” while carrying an “Equality” sign and wearing a “Liberty” sash. The phrase “Still a Good Idea” gives the historic imagery a contemporary twist, connecting the women’s suffrage movement with the continuing conversation around equality and women’s rights.

The warm sepia palette, antique typography and simplified illustration style give the piece the look of an early 20th-century campaign poster. I especially like the understated humor of the message. More than a century later, equality remains a remarkably solid concept.

A strong piece for a home office, study, classroom, library, studio or feminist gallery wall, especially for collectors interested in suffrage history, women’s rights and vintage political artwork.
